Author: This year the theme was the Zombie Doctor’s Lab. The newest addition to my setup was a bottomless pit prop, that I think turned out pretty well (even though the photos really don’t do the effect justice). This year saw 187 trick or treaters!

I didn’t have time to do a theme this year, what with starting a new job and all, but I still think the display turned out pretty nice. And with the money I saved not making new props, I’ll have extra for next year! 🙂

Continuing with the idea of themed displays, 2010 was dubbed the Witch’s Kitchen. It was also the most pumpkins I’ve ever had, rounding out at an even dozen. Incidentally… I dyed my hair black for this costume, with dye that was supposed to wash out in 21 days. It’s almost a year later and it still hasn’t completely faded out. Read the rest of this entry »
